a. Oggi il suo aspetto può essere quello di una struttura parzialmente interrata o di unatowering silhouette against the sky, surrounded by other archaeological remains such as ritual wells, burial mounds and stone huts. This is Sardinia: a landscape where the boundaries between myth and history are blurred, and every stone speaks of a civilization unknown for much of its course. Visiting an archaeological site of this type means entering a space stripped of embellishments, where the archaeologist’s gaze is needed to reassemble fragments of walls, paths and altars. The silence is the true protagonist, accompanied by the wind that moves over the hills. It is a place that does not need narration to communicate: it simply exists, a silent mark of those who inhabited this land millennia ago, among pastures and wild coasts.
