Yueh Hai Ching Temple (simplified Chinese: 粤海清庙; traditional Chinese: 粵海清廟), also known as the Wak Hai Cheng Bio from its Teochew name, is a Chinese temple in Singapore located in Raffles Place, Singapore's central business district. The temple, whose name literally means "Temple of the Calm Sea", w

as the first stop for Chinese immigrants to Singapore in the early 19th century. The temple was gazetted as a national monument of Singapore in 1996. It had also won various awards for its heritage and conservation efforts.
