The Wordsworth Graves The acclaimed poet William Wordsworth described Grasmere as "The fairest place on Earth" With his family, Wordsworth became a regular worshipper at St Oswald's. He now rests in this peaceful churchyard alongside his wife Mary, their daughter Dora, their young children Catherine
