The Victoria Hall and James Jopson black plaque

The Victoria Hall was officially opened on 1 January 1901 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria's reign. The construction was partly funded by public subscription and the hall is now held on charitable trust by the Town Council on behalf of the people of Grange-over-sands. Originally

situated on this site was Laurel House, owned by James Jopson.
