The West Street The Jolly Sailor. One of the early Public Houses in Blue Town was destroyed by a fire in 1888. The wooden structure was replaced on the same site by the existing brick built premises. al officers, and wealthy visitors to the town. It finally closed its doors as a hotel when it was put up for sale at the end of 1982
