The Angel, Lymington blue plaque

There has been an inn on this site since the 1600's and it was first called The Angel in 1756. The town's major coaching inn, it was a centre for many activities - a meeting place for the Court Leet, the Church Wardens and even the stables for the Fire Brigade horses in the 1800's.
