The Teatro Arthur Azevedo is a theatre in São Luís, the capital of Maranhão, Brazil. The building in neoclassical style is located in the Historic Centre of São Luís. Built in 1817, it is the second oldest theatre of Brazil and was named after Artur Azevedo in 1922. The present structure was rebuilt
