St. Aubin - Paspebiac. In the spring of 1776 Charles Robin (1743-1824) left St. Aubin to investigate cod fishery opportunities in the Bay of Chaleurs, Canada. There he chose a site at Paspebiac in the Gaspe peninsula to be the headquarters of what was to become one of the most important firms in the
