Sir Frederick Grant Banting (Alliston, 14 novembre 1891 – Terranova, 21 febbraio 1941) è stato un fisiologo ed endocrinologo canadese, scopritore dell'insulina insieme a John James Rickard Macleod (con il quale condivise il Premio Nobel), Charles Herbert Best e James Bertram Collip.
