Le Scale Gemonie, dette anche 'Scale dei Sospiri', collegavano il Foro Romano al Campidoglio. Qui venivano esposti i corpi dei condannati prima del getto nel Tevere. Luogo di grande peso storico e simbolico, rappresentano l'asprezza del potere romano.
