Royal Masonic Hospital Nurses' Home This former nurses' home and the nearby hospital it served were designed by architects Burnet, Tait and Lorne. The hospital opened in 1933. The nurses' home, part of the architects' original plan but built later, opened in 1938. Following closure of the hospital,
