The Siklos Reformed Church, -says locals,- same age as the Hungarian Reformation. The first Protestant pastor of the city called Mihály Siklos (or Szilvási), who was born in the city, first preached since 1522 in Sátoraljaújhely. Reformed stonechurch of Siklos construction began in 1791, thanks to t

he support of a local landowner, Count AntalBatthyány in 1806 completed the temple.
