Fallen Soldiers Memorial - 1923 Built to commemorate the residents of Subiaco who lost their lives in the First World War, the Memorial also acknowledges lives lost in subsequent conflicts. Designed by architect E H Hamilton, the building of the tower was aided by public subscription. The Subiaco Mu

nicipal Council provided the clock, made by Bensons of London at a cost of six hundred pounds. The copper cone was built by Arous Metal Products of Subiaco.
