The 99 steps. These steps on a footpath linking the settlements of Upper and Lower Brailes have been used since, certainly Medieval times. Generations of village children have played around the steps. In 1999 Brailes Footpath Group launched a Sponsor-a-Step Appeal to raise funds to repair them and m
