These gates were erected to the memory of John Hugh Randall of Corner Hollow, Rowney Green by those who loved and esteemed him. Died March 22nd 1954. "Fear no more the heat of the sun, / Nor the furious winter's rages; / Thou thy worldly work hast done, / Home art gone and ta'en thy wages"
