Oaxaca, Mexico
Inaugurated in 1974, this museum contains about 1,000 pieces of pre-Hispanic Mexican art originally collected and owned by artist Rufino Tamayo. The works are beautifully displayed in five exhibition rooms. The colors for each room were chosen by Tamayo, who frequently used them in his paintings.
