This impressive fortified monastery was originally established in the 13th century, although the current structure dates from the late 16th century. The star attraction is the Gothic chapel dating from the early 14th century. This is still a working monastery, so visits are only possible with guided

tours, which last about 30-40 minutes and are available in Spanish and English.
