Mauricio Báez Bridge

The Mauricio Báez Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge on the Higuamo River near San Pedro de Macorís in the Dominican Republic. With a total length of 613.8 m (2,014 ft) and a main span of 390 m (1,280 ft), it was the cable-stayed bridge in the Caribbean, when it opened in 2007. It was designed by Studi
o De Miranda of Italy, and constructed by the Mera group. It is named after Dominican labor leader Mauricio Báez.
