Originating as a surau in 1925, it has been rebuilt thrice and is part of the Bukit Timah Heritage Trail, with its main congregants coming from Bukit Timah, Sixth Avenue a

nd Holland Road. Within the mosque are the Alias Villas, two landed houses which are owned by the mosque.
