Monumento Natural Laguna de los Cisnes (Spanish for "Swan Lagoon Natural Monument") is a protected area in Chile located about 3.7 miles (6 km) north of the town of Porvenir, close to the Strait of Magellan. It encompasses the lake of the same name along with seven islets within it. The site also in

cludes a stromatolite park, one of the few places in Chile and South America where these ancient microbial structures can be observed.
