Kotsuura Dam (Japanese: 上津浦ダム) is a gravity dam located in Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan. The dam is used for flood control and water supply. The catchment area of the dam is 1.2 km2. The dam impounds about 2 ha of land when full and can store 467 thousand cubic meters of water. The construction of t
he dam was started on 1989 and completed in 2004.
