The Katas Raj Temples (Punjabi, Urdu: کٹاس راج مندر) is a Hindu temple complex in the Salt Range of Punjab, Pakistan. The main complex is connected to one another by walkways and surrounds a pond named Katas which is regarded as sacred by Hindus, while another group, called Satghara, is present to s
outhwest at some distance. The oldest temple dates back to 6th century CE. The site is believed to feature in Hindu mythological texts such as Mahābhārata and Puranas.
