ldovenesc de Stat, Russian: Кишинёвский педагогический институт, romanized: Kishinovskiy pedagogicheskiy institut, lit. 'Kishinev Pedagogical Institute'), being renamed the Ion Creangă State Pedagogical Institute in 1955, and receiving its current name on 21 May 1992. It is named after the Romanian writer and story-teller Ion Creangă. The university offers Bachelor, Master and Doctorate level degrees.
