The church building was built in 1833, and extensively restyled in 1853, resulting in the present handsome Italianate structure. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Pl
aces in 1982. The congregation, established in 1833, is affiliated with the United Church of Christ; its senior pastor is Rev. Gary Bagley.
