Château Laurier 1908 - 1912. This dignified hotel was built for the Grand Trunk Railway by the Ottawa Terminals railway company and opened in June 1, 1912. The east wing was added in 1928. Prime minister R.B. Bennett maintained his residence here between 1930 and 1935. Designated Heritage Property /
