In the early 19th century the Peacock Pub stood on this site. Before that it was a Bakehouse. The original cottages were replaced by a single dwelling in the late 1940's by local craftsman, Walter Bray, who reused the original Northamptonshire quarried stone in the construction of the house that sta
nds today. In the late 20th century it became the home of Brixworth Pottery.
