The Pound House. This Grade II Northamptonshire Ironstone building dates from 1594 with additions in 1709. Variously called Ivy House, Eaglehurst and Harwood House, the present name derives from the old Pound opposite used to impound straying livestock. More recently the site included the Fox in the

Pound Bookshop and was the home of the Brixworth Bugle newsletter.
