This Georgian town church built in 1754 replaced the Church which was part of the Cluniac Priory of St Mary de La Charité and St Augustine founded here in 1107 by Hugh de Leicester. This building designed by David Hiorne of Warwick was based on All Saints Derby now Derby Cathedral which in turn was
designed by James Gibbs.
