Stadens norra kasern 1738 byggdes hörnhuset av bryggaren Lars Malmborg, 1749 flygeln utmed Skeppargatan med mälthus och magasin. Fastigheten köptes 1812 av staden för att användas som kasern. Åren 1856-1888, under unionstiden, var H M Konungens Norska Garde förlagt hit. 1891-1927 låg här Östermalms
brandstation och 1894-1977 Östermalms polisstation. Upprustat 1979. Built in the 18th century as a brewery. From 1812 used as barracks, The Royal Norwegian Guards were stationed here between 1856-88.
