Del Mar Inn Del Mar Inn, the last original building on a redeveloped block, continues to provide well-managed, clean, affordable rooms for downtown residents. Purchased by George Riste in 1972, the former 1912 Cadillac Hotel was the one property on this block to elude purchase and redevelopment. The

statement "Unlimited Growth Increases the Divide" is a permanent art installation by Kathryn Walter. This plaque is sponsored by the Riste Family.
