Pennsylvania Station. Opened with this name by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1933; later renamed 30th Street Station. One of the largest rail stations in the U.S., with 16 tracks. Its magnificent main concourse has a 95-foot high ceiling. Three earlier stations were in this vicinity.
