Timberlake. In 1826 this two-story brick home was built beside an Indian trail. Its builder, Maj. William Thornton Timberlake, in War of 1812, helped to develop toll road which became Dixie Highway. Home of son-in-law, Dr. John H. Stevenson, first to practice medicine in Boone and Kenton counties. F
