Broadstreet Farmhouse. Built by Paris and Mary (Harris) Broadstreet soon after they came from Mississippi (1861), settling 5 miles southeast of here. A son, Samuel (1864-1934), graduated from the Louisville (Ky.) Medical School in 1888 and practiced for two years in this house before opening a large
