Gregg Wood Home. David Gregg Wood, Sr. (1876-1965) originally came to the valley in 1893 and settled in Mission in 1908. Wood, who served as mayor, city commissioner, and president of the First National Bank, led the way for many improvements in the area's water, sewage, and irrigation systems. This
