This plaque was installed in 2017, on the 30th anniversary of the Great Storm. It commemorates Angus McGill, who initiated the appeal to replace London's lost trees and the planting of the oak nearby. McGill died in 2015 after 42 years as a columnist with the Evening Standard, and creator of the Cli
