Altdorf (toponimo tedesco; in svizzero tedesco Alteref) è un comune svizzero di 9 401 abitanti del Canton Uri; è la capitale e il centro più popoloso del cantone. È il luogo in cui, secondo la leggenda, Guglielmo Tell dovette centrare con una freccia una mela posta sulla testa del figlio.
